The Foolish
1 Corinthians 1:27 (NLT), “Remember, dear brothers and sisters, that few of you were wise in the world’s eyes or powerful or wealth when God called you. Instead, God chose things the world considers foolish in order to shame those who think they are wise. And he chose things that are powerless to shame those who are powerful.”
The Gentiles
Matthew 2:1-2 (NKJV), “Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, wise men from the East came to Jerusalem, 2 saying, “Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we have seen His star in the East and have come to worship Him.”
The Father’s Business
Luke 2:49-50 (NKJV), “And He said to them, “Why did you seek Me? Did you not know that I must be about My Father’s business?” 50 But they did not understand the statement which He spoke to them.”
